yor hair is just like mine: i normally do a nice side ponytail with a little cute hairpiece. but not too big or anything or if not a bun. or a half up and half down hairstyle and i like to be different and put the tp part in a bun. you could also try scrunching yor hair it takes like 5 minutes to scrunch really well. or you could put it in a ponytail and then a messy bun hope that helped

I have thick and wavy hair that takes more than an hour to straighten, and often turns into a whole lot of frizz whenever there's a lot of humidity.

Unless I have nothing better do but sit around and straighten my hair, I usually just take a shower in the morning, and comb my fingers through it as I let it air dry a bit. After that I put a dab of mousse in my hands and then scrunch my hair a little. I let the mousse dry and I don't touch my hair for a while, otherwise it'll get really frizzy. Finally I put it up into a messy ponytail/bun with a clip, very similar to the style in the avatar and Karen's do from Will & Grace.

It's simple and people are always shocked when I mention that the whole process usually takes less than a minute.

my hair is the same, but i usually straighten it the night before. When i don't straighten it, i usually put a non-frizz product in it, or something that defines curl, and put it half up, or put it all up in a messy pony tail. i don't really care what my hair looks like when i go to school.
But having the wavy thick hair that i do, the best thing i invested in was a hair straightener. I bought a really good one from the salon. my old one used to take me 2 hours to do, and with the new one from the salon it only takes 20 minutes.

If you dont have bangs, get some big "sidesweep" bangs, they really shape the face, because I have the same hair as you. Straighten them, or curl. It only takes 2 or 3 minutes. Then put yor hair up in a messy and cute bun. I do it alot and get compliments,

placed on hats. They stretch out your hair if its wavy, not saying this might make it advance quicker yet have damp hair and slowly place a hat on it for like 30 minutes to an hour. the take it off slowly, then brush and your hair could be flatter.

I think that wavy hair looks cute in pony tails! It's fast and easy way.

One quick style that's popular around me is to take the two front sections of hair (small sections) and pin them back with a bobby pin. It looks surprisingly cute.

Or to take the whole front section as one big section and use several bobby pins to pin it back off your face. Alternate the direction of the pins so the hair stays.

If I had your hair type - half up half down would look great. I always see girls who have the hair to do it and wish I could but my hair has no volume.
