They don't, Sweetie. Jesus was a Jew, but they do not believe him to be the messiah.

There are many people and religions (including Judaism) that believe Jesus existed. But the vast majority of the world does not believe Jesus was the son of God. Only the Christians think that.

Jews who believe in Jesus are called "Jews for Jesus" or Messianic Jews. Just another form of Christianity. Those who call themselves simply Jews do not believe Jesus had any kind of divinity nor do they accept him as a prophet.

Jews do not believe in Jesus. He is completely irrelevant to the Jewish religion. He was not the messiah, son of G-d, or a prophet. He is not recognized as a rabbi or any other religious leader.
"Messianic Jews" are not an exception to this rule, as they do not follow the Jewish religion and are not recognized by the Jewish community or Jewish law as Jews. They are Christians.

Jews do not believe in jesus. Not as a god, not as a messiah, and for many, not even as more than a fictional character in a story from rome to help push a new religion to the masses that were into gods having sex with virgins.

the jews dont believe in Jesus (pbuh). they think that hes a false massiah. thats why they tried to kill him. the jews back then were called muslims. and Jesus (pbuh) was calling people Islam. after he rose up to the heavens, paul made u his own religion called christianity, which claims that Jesus is God/Son of God. but the jews didnt accept this religion also. thats why judiasm is not part of christianity. another reason is that jews always thought that ezra was son f god. not jesus.

Jews believe He was a prophet--not the Coming Messiah and King, and If they deny that He was the Annointed One then they cannot be in fellowship with Christians.

OK, for the millionth time, we dont accept him as the messiah because he did not unite the people of Israel, nor did he repel the invaders (romans, philistines) from Ha'aretz. And no, we dont believe he was a prophet either. He was just a man with ideas, like a lot of humans. He was very intelligent and altruistic, Ill give him that, but he still did not fulfill prophesy, and so we wait for the messiah to come.

Christianity began out as a small cult... maximum Jews had in no way even heard of Jesus on the beginning up of the person-friendly era. A small band of Jews who had started following Jesus tried to cajole different Jews that the Messiah had come... with little fulfillment... so this small Jesus cult desperate to unfold the notice to the gentiles fairly. yet that they had hassle changing the gentiles to Judaism, provided that Jewish traditions have been so strict and have been particularly stressful to persist with for those no longer spoke of Jewish-- think of them working around telling countless Pagans they had to flow kosher and get circumsized and study Hebrew and learn the Torah abruptly. It did no longer fly. They desperate that the previous covenant develop into now no longer mandatory and to dispense with lots of the Jewish rules. With that, greater gentiles got here on board. Little wallet of those Jesus cults began installation church homes that have been beginning as much as flourish in countless places. and of direction, while Constantine desperate he mandatory a greater conservative faith to attempt and tame the wild, self-damaging habit of the Romans, and he introduced leaders of those church homes jointly, compiled the Christian Bible and unified Christianity, the church develop into solidified.

Jews don't believe in Jesus, persay. They think he existed. They even know he was crucified. But they chose to believe that he wasnt resurrected.
When the roman guards guarding the tomb came to the high priests of the time and told them Jesus' body wasnt there, the priests paid them to spread the word that "Jesus' followers came and stole the body when we were asleep". here's THAT problem: how would the guards know it was Jesus' followers if they were asleep???
