Tell him to quit doing the drugs he has been doing. While a smaller engine can out pull a larger one if it is geared right, the power difference here is too great. It is the torque that gives you the off the line pulling power. My truck does have a 6 cylinder that will out pull your v10 though. ;-) It is a Cat c15 500 hp. with 1850 ft lbs. of torque. But it is also a semi. In other words a big truck. But that isn't a fair comparison and I am just messin with ya. Seriously though, I doubt his little 6 will out pull your v10.

Depends on gearing and the contest. With the right gear ratio the 6 could pull almost anything, just not very fast. The 4.9 six is among the best work engines Ford ever built.

So are they a good investment?...... NO car, NO brand of car is a good investment. Now I see no reason to think a Mustang as just a whiteboy car. They are nice cars or at least I like them but then for $8,000 it all depends on what you buy. A 6 cyl. that has been taken care of would be nice, A V8 that is taken car of would be a good one... but how was it driven.. a hot rod? You may get junk. So get one if you wish, but have it checked out before you buy.

Sorry but I had a v10 as a work truck....I know what the specs are on paper but that thing was useless. According to the specs it should feel more like my diesel(325hp,565fp-torque) but not Even close.

wow , does he drive under the influence too? the 6 cyl is a stump puller of a motor but that v 10 should be able to drag him all over the place. let us know the results

great challenge--but the inline double plug 6 has a good chance of taking your pink slip if his tires have enough bite.
