Man created god.

That is the only possible logical conclusion.

Depends upon which religion you are consulting. Most religions that I am aware of, however, have an ultimate God, from whom all things are created. Generally, this God existed "before" time, and thus existed independent of time. Thus, there is no need for this God to have been made, since this God simply exists (always, but more than that--you have to try to grasp the idea of a time without time).

Some religions personalize this ultimate God (In the Judeo-Islamo-Christian religions, the "ultimate God" is equivalent to the One True God). In others, like Hinduism, the ultimate God is completely infinite, and completely beyond human understanding. This type of God is somewhat like what you call "infinity"---our modern scientific conception would almost call this God more of a force or power, rather than a God in the sense of having a singular identity.

Mankind's finite mind cannot comprehend God or Infinity. Only Spirit Beings can. Mankind uses a very complex and sophisticated detection system inside the bottom of their heart to locate infinity and find God, called F.A.I.T.H. ......FOR ACCEPTANCE IN TO HEAVEN...... through God's only Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. If you're not using this particular type of detection system, then you will never be able to locate your life in eternity.

This is one of the eternal questions

This question in my eyes helps disprove religion all together. But it also flies in the face of science as we know it.

Its an impossible question to answer.

In the end it boils down to personal belief.
Me? I believe we are great machines. How did we all get here though...god knows! and thats rather ironic..isnt it?

I dont believe in any religion though. I believe in just what I believe.

Nobody knows if there is a god and if there is what sort of thing god would be. I do mean nobody no matter who they are or were. there are lots of ideas in many different books from many different religions that will tell you all sorts of things they would like you to believe but they not really know

Well, "before" there was a Universe, there was no such thing as Time, because Time came into existence along with the Universe. So there was really NO "before". The Gods must have come into existence at the same instant... who/what caused that? who knows! the Universe itself has its own plans!

To understand God as a being who was created is not to understand God. If God could be made by something else, then God would be less than God - a logical contradiction.

The finite requires the Infinite (which makes believing in God intuitively plausible.)

btw - How much space do you think an infinite being needs to "exist" in?

Because we are human, we can only understand time. God tells us that a day is but a thousand years to Him. Which means that he is not ruled by time. He has always been here. He is the creator not the created.

No one made God. Our human minds cannot conceive this -it is a spiritual understanding. He has always been. Saying that infinity made everything is absurd.

Fantastic question. If there are more planets in the universe than there are grains of sand on Earth, why did God only put life on one planet?
