A burn is a burn whether it is caused from the sun, fire, wind or ice. You can try to moisturize it and keep it soft but what you really want to do is to remove the skin by using a soft scrubbing action, just as you would if your back was peeling from a sunburn. Use a gentle micro scrub and eventually the dead skin will come off. You may still have a red spot though but that will disappear this summer when you get a tan. Or, you can go to a tanning booth to help even out the color. But, the first thing to remember is that it is a burn and that means the skin is dead. So, it is essential that if you can't remove the skin to keep it as moist as possible and it will eventually sluff off.

never put anything on any type of burn, makes it so that the skin cant heal properly. just let it be and let it get some air, it will heal. If its nothig thats really bad, theres nothing your going to do anyways.

btw...its called frostbite..
