I bought 3 stone 1 carat platinum princess cut ring on ebay for $800 bucks, do you guys think its a good deal?

The person who sold it has the original receipt saying they paid 3000.

If it's real, yes. Spend an extra $100 and take it to an authentic jeweler - it's worth it. If it is, in fact, a 1ct platinum then it would be a FABULOUS BUY - good job kiddo!!! Have it appraised. Get an insurance policy - you can add it onto most homeowners insurance policies and even get a discount if you go to thru your car insurance company if you don't own a home.
If it's not worth the money take out a grievance with eBay and possibly the person / company will allow you to return it.

I have actually sold a ring that was more expensive then this on ebay for 500, so i would say you got a good deal. It was my sisters wedding ring and she just wanted it gone and needed money for it right away. But I dont know much about diamonds and cuts of them, so hopefully you shopped around

nope, you likely got a fake ring... no 3 stone 1 carat platinum princess cut ring would be that cheap, even if it is secondhand.
