Well, i have med. length hair and ive been wanting it to grow back (i had long hair b4) and i really wantred to do this: pull it up in a ponytail, semi-crimp the ponytail, take the ponytail out, pull your hair up in a messy bun; i saw it in a seventeen magazine and it was really cute.
