I need advice badly please help?
I just got asked out by this guy that i like as a friend but nothing more, I told him i was late for the bus and quikly walked away. i dont want to hurt his feeling or ruin our friendship, but i do not want to date him. What should i say
also he asked me to the dance, from my friend she said he already bought the tickets

hi, make him understand why you don't want to be in a relationship with him... if he is a good friend, he will listen and understand.... also explain to him that you rather have him as a friend than ruin the friendship in case the relationship doesn't work out...
don't give him the feeling that maybe later on in your life you might consider him... that'l just make you look bad... and make it seem as if you would be using him...
about the dance, go with him.. but make sure to tell him that your doing this for your friendship and nothing else...try not to act weird when your with him.. that'l make him uncomfortable. just enjoy yourselves as good friends having a night out....
if your not going... call and tell him that you don't want to go.. be straight forward.. explain your reasons..(if you have any) or just say you wont feel comfortable with him..

I would nip this in the butt ASAP! You need to let him know that you care about him as a friend, but only as a friend. If he bought tickets to a dance already, if you feel comfortable about it, go with him as friends, and make it clear to him that such is the case. Your friendship is probably at that point where either he will accept what you say and be ok, or he will be upset and need some time to mend. But dont leave him hanging for to long, waiting for your answer.

well that is a hard thing to handle. What you need to do is think really hard about how important your friendship is with him. personally i think you should go to the dance with him but make it known that you two are going as friends and nothing more. You need to tell him that he is your really good friend and you want to maintain that friendship and that you think things may get ruined if your friendship changes to a relationship. although he may not like that answer he should respect your wishes if he truly likes you more than a friend. But one thing you need to not do is blow him off or give him the run around cuz that could definitely jeopardize your friendship all together. good luck girl

I have been there before...just tell him how you feel...its the right thing to do. And go to the dance. You might meet another guy...If you are having troubles finding out just how to word it...give this a shot "Hey, I am sorry, but I am not interested at the moment. I would love to go with you to the dance, but just as friends" If he can't accept that..well maybe he doesn't deserve someone as sweet as you to be his friend....you think? Good Luck!

Just tell him you like him as a friend ... he might be hurt a little, but I am sure that he is going to respect your feelings
