I think they're old-fashioned and that's great! There's nothing wrong with old fashioned.....if you have the right dress then gloves would be beautiful. Try the dress on with gloves...put on the veil and the shoes and the dress and then put on the gloves. If you LOVE the gloves then wear them....if it seems too much, don't wear them. But I think you need to see everything together.

If you decide to go this route PRACTICE with them!!!! You dont want to be fumbling around on the wedding day when its time to put on your rings. Either do the finger slit and slip your finger out or take the glove off gracefully.

Honestly, I prefer without gloves though as a personal opinion. Everyone will want to see your rings so you wont be wearing them really except for walking down the aisle.(you will not want to be taking on and off your glove throughout the night) Plus when you do the one glove off thing, you are standing there with only one glove on, wierd looking. And if you choose to do the finger slit then in your pictures you have one wierd finger sticking out of a gloved arm. Just some things to think about.

Hi it all depends on your type of style, if you like them and they go with your dress then i think that gloves are a good idea and will add a touch of elegance. I was looking at the gloves as im getting married this July but as it will be red hot (I hope ) i dont think i could stand wearing clothes. But all i say if you want to wear them do.

It depends on the style of the dress and the length of the gloves. Opera gloves (over or to the elbow) can be lovely with a strapless dress. However, if you have straps of any kind, I'm not quite sure how well it would go. Look at lots of pictures and see if you think it would look good. Or, next time you try on the dress, see if they have any gloves you can try on wth it. : )

The last wedding I shot, the bride had long gloves, strapless dress with a short furry shrug. It is a little retro, but very beautiful. Try them on and wear them if you like them!

It's what you feel elegant and princessy in. Personally, I wouldn't, i feel its a bit 90's but its an individual thing. Also dependent on your dress style. If it was a slim, fishtale, Audrey Hepburn style dress, gloves would look stunning but if it was a big ballgown one, it could still look good but probably a bit much.

Try them on and see what you think! They're not that expensive so you could always sell them on, on gumtree.com or something.

Bridal gloves will always be in style as long as it goes with the dress. Traditionally they are not worn with a long sleeve dress.

Wear them if you feel like it. Make sure that they are off during the ceremony so that the ring fits your finger.
Have a great wedding & life & remember be true & faithful to your husband & expect the same from him. Have 4 or 5 children & be happy

Not old fashioned at all, very classy as long as it works with the dress. Go for it and best wishes for your special day.
