I want to dye my hair red, it is dark blonde now is that a good idea?

if its dark blonde... almost brown.. then yea.. if its kind of light.. ugh.... i suggest not... dye messes up your hair and when your routes grow out.. ewwww... its soo nasty.. i have that little problem right now.. plus red is a color that fades away easy.. so i would really think about it before i ruined my hair..

It depends if you are meaning red like stop sign or red as in natural hair color, the first - I would advise nobody to ever do such things with their hair. Second - it'll depend on your skin tone and everything else whether it'll look good on you - so it might. You may want to try a wash in wash out color similar first to check if you like it, then go for the permanent if you do.

i would say no just because i hate the idea of people dyeing there hair. i would just get some streaks in your dark blonde hair. maybe put some lighter blonde streaks or something like that :)

It won't hurt your hair, but remember to use a fade resistant shampoo because red is a very hard color to keep in your hair if it isn't natural. It washes out/fades quickly!

no if you are doing it because of friends or something then don't do it, but if your doing it to make you look better or maybe you think you look good in the color then go for it.
