if it is for yourself then just go to the person and tell them that you do not want to be with them.
if it s a friend then stay out of it unless the marriage is life threatening. then you should go to the person and present them with your evidence.
if you are trying to stop a woman/man that you love and do not want them to get married then you should go to that person tell them your feelings for them and hope that they feel the same way about you. if they do not want to be with you them move on to some one else. good luck and remember there are other fish in the sea.

Are you trying to stop someone from getting married or are you engaged and looking to get out of it?

If you're trying to stop someone from getting married, the answer is, you DON'T!!!!!
If you want to break off an egagement, you say, "I don't think I can go thru with this wedding."

It has to be easier than divorce. Be polite, be gentle and be direct so there can be no misunderstanding. The person is going to be hurt, perhaps families, but trust me, do it.
