I would highly suggest Corel Presentations. You can even save your slide show as a PowerPoint so that when you bring it wherever, they can view it without having to install "your" software. You can download a free trial on the Wordperfect site, however Microsoft will let you try PowerPoint for 30/60 days too. Office 2003 for Students and Teachers (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) retails for $150.

Powerpoint makes use of a .ppt report extension, so in hardship-free words a powerpoint report should be run on powerpoint as far as i understand. so that you're SOL there, per chance you'll hit upon a web presentation software that you'll get proper of entry to by skill of the internet everywhere you go surfing so that is user-friendly to convey and cutting-edge it elsewhere.

Well, there is a free program that you can use and, best of all, you don't need to install it. You can use Thumbstacks. Thumbstacks is a web application. Basically, you can run the program entirely in your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). You are familiar with e-mail services on the Internet (e.g. Yahoo! Mail or Gmail). Think of Thumbstack as a Powerpoint clone on the Internet. You can access all your slides from any computer with an Internet connection. Thumbstack can create, edit and save presentations in Powerpoint file type. Powerpoint and Thumbstack is completely compatible. However, it does lack some of the more advanced features. But, who uses them anyway? You can create a free account at http://www.thumbstacks.com/

If you are familiar with Powerpoint then you shouldn't have any problems with Thumbstacks. Thumbstack tries to duplicate Powerpoint controls and layout.

You could try OpenOffice but it is a fairly large file 96.8MB download and takes up twice that amount once installed. You can download it at http://www.filehippo.com/download_openoffice/

Use OpenOffice, it has a presentation program that is compatible with Microsoft Office...and it's free. Get it here:
