I believe that every guy has thought about it, but only those few special ones are respectful enough to not pressure their girl (like you said)..being raped is a very tramatic experience and he wants to make sure you are completly over it and comfortable with the idea of "sex"...
I think you should tell him, he might be a little uneasy about it, but trust me: if u persue it, he aint gonna stop you

Well you should tell your guy that you are ready and talk about it with him. Its very wonderful that he says he doesn't want to pressure you. I'm also sorry to hear that you were raped. And ifu do get scared at the last minute before you and your guy ahve sex, back out. It's okay. You can't freak out during sex ro else it will hurt (I'm sure you know that).
I wanted sex before my boyfriend did. Then again I wasn't a virgin and he was. I felt like I was pressuring him into it, but we talked about it and he wnated to ... he was just scared. Just communicate with your boyfriend and everything should okay.
