brown is in the family of brunette. there are 3 basic colors of hair: blonde, red and brunette. brunette includes all shades of blacks, blacks-browns, all shades of browns and some shades of reddish browns, golden browns......anything that does not fall into the red and blonde shades....

There is very little difference. They both mean brown hair, but brunette is used for dark brown hair, but it can mean the same as regular brown hair too. For more information, visit the link i have below.

Brunnette is just another way to say brown, but the difference is that Brunnette means "Brown colored hair" and brown is just the color. and by the way, brunnette's are way hotter. Duh?
