Throughout bible history God has favored the generations of those who love Him and shown His Wrath on the generations of those who offended Him. This is a harsh truth that has led to many of the popular alterations we see today.

No, but I can see where the confusion would come. A good portion of understanding in this area can come from Romans.

The age of accountability refers to the age that a person has the ability to make a decision to follow God or not. This does not erase original sin. Romans 7:7-12 is a good reference for on argument regarding the age of accountability. We know sin because of the Law. If there was no Law, we would not have an understanding of sin.

This doesn't mean that we do not sin, however. It merely means that without it, we would not understand that we sin the way we do. We know that also in Romans 1:20 it says that we are without excuse, because we are born with a built in knowledge of God's attributes. How do these meet up? Obviously, then, there is knowledge that we do have about God, which makes us responsible to that knowledge. There is also knowledge about sin which comes through the Law. Inherently, there is some spillover both ways in the knowledge.

In Romans 4:15 we learn that through the law comes wrath, but without the law there is no violation. In otherwords, if you don't know, you aren't held accountable for what you are ignorant of.

Then how can there be original sin? The way we know there is original sin is that in Romans 5:12-14 Paul tells us about it. It was through Adam that sin entered the world, and we are all born sinful. There is still original sin. However, the age of accountability is a way that God shows his mercy to those who cannot understand their tresspass properly. This is not to be understood to be a special and specific age, rather an understanding of the mind and spirit that could come at different ages for different people.

when the rapture happens babies will be innocent because they are not accountable for themselves, they do not know right from wrong. No, we have not done away with original sin.

Since they haven't reached the age of accountability, they are innocent. They were born with a nature to sin, but haven't sinned until they are old enough to know right from wrong.

Read Ezekiel 18 - it talks about how the soul that sins will die and how the father is not responsible for the sins of the child or the child responsible for the sins of the father.

Oh yea, though I believe in God...there is not going to be a rapture. The book of Revelation is figurative.

Babies don't go to Heaven because they're free of original sin. They are born with the taint of original sin. But because they aren't aware of their condition and cannot choose to accept or reject Christ as their Savior, they are not held responsible for their condition. They also don't understand the difference between right and wrong, so they are not held accountable.

How they are cleansed of sin before entering Heaven, I have no clue. That's God's business and none of my own.

I don't talk about or teach about an "age of innocence".

Ps 51:5

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
KJV

On the other hand, God is the judge of such things... and He WANTS ALL TO BE SAVED. He alone will deal with the way of saving babies.

I tell all to have their children baptized into Christ just for our assurance.

Rom 6:3-4
3 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
(from New International Version)

Babies don't have the mental faculties to intentionally sin. Therefore, they are much less at fault than older people.

Because those who are too young to understand sin, are exempt from the penalty of sin.

This also goes to mentally disabled, who are usually very pleasant people.
