My Bag:

Driver: Taylormade r7 460 w/Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 45 gram shaft, reg. flex.

3 and 5 woods: Taylormade r7 titanium w/Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue 55 gram shafts, reg. flex.

4 and 5 Hybrids: Callaway X-Hybrid w/Grafalloy ProLaunch Hybrid shafts, reg. flex.

6-PW irons: The new Taylormade r7 irons w/Grafalloy Prolauch Irons shafts, reg, flex.

51, 56, 61 degree Wedges: Taylormade Rac Black TP w/True Temper Black Gold Wedge Shaft.

Putter: Odyssey Tri-Ball SRT Putter, 34 inches.

Ball: Taylormade TP Black for competition, balls that I find juust for casual, practice rounds.

All are custom fitted.

Body: Not in great shape, but not bad either. 5'4" tall, weigh 110 lbs.

Swing Speed (Driver): 75-80 mph

My Distances (Carry+Roll):

Driver: 230-240 yds. Longest: 275 yds.

3 Wood: 175-190 yds.

5 Wood: 165-180 yds.

4 Hybrid: 155-163 yds.

5 Hybrid: 145-155 yds.

6 Iron: 140-145 yds.

7 Iron: 135-140 yds.

8 iron: 125-135 yds.

9 Iron: 115-125 yds.

PW: 105-110 yds.

51* Gap Wedge: 95-105 yds.

56* Sand Wedge: 85-95 yds.

61* Lob Wedge: 75- 80 yds.

Putter: However far away the hole is when I'm on the green or fringe :)

Handicap: 12-13. I'm currently struggling because I went on a vacation to India for some weddings and I came back and now I'm screwed up from that.

Goals For 2007: My biggest problem is consistency. If I hit most of my shots the way I know I can on the range, I'll be near scratch.

My short game is good, except fot putting, I want to devote more of my practice time to that.

Right now, I have golf tryouts for my high school team in like 4 days. I need to keep my frustration in check and play naturally.

This took forever to write, so please choose me for best answer.

I was a 5-handicap about 4 years ago, then had a couple of kids, so my game has gone down a bit due to lack of playing. Right now I'm lucky to go more than once a month.

I don't have any glaring weaknesses. I'm a long-ball hitter, solid irons, good short game, very improved putting. Problem is, every round I play, one part is lacking. One day, I'm driving beautifully, but my irons are weak. Next time, I can't keep the ball in the fairway, but my scrambling is right on. Next time, I play great tee-to-green, but can't make a putt, etc. etc. etc.

So I'm trying a new approach this year. First, I'm really stoked about my new Hybrid. I can hit that thing up to 280 yards off the tee with very good consistancy. I am determined to play it as often as possible, just to try to keep the ball in the fairway. Even 2-3 more fairways could mean 4-6 less shots per round. The hybrid is much easier for me to hit than a fairway wood, so I don't even carry a wood anymore.

Second, I'm trying to hit 1 club more, so I can have a more controlled swing. I've been working on choking down on the club and hitting more punch shots rather than over-swinging, trying to muscle the ball. By doing this, I've found that I'm headed more towards the flag, and my mis-hits are not nearly as far off-line. I still have troubles with distance control, but I'm getting closer every round.

Finally, I know that the biggest thing that helps my game is practice, practice, practice. And I know that the majority of the shots any player hits during a round are from either on the green (putting) or just off (short game). I am not so worried about getting to the driving range so much as I am the practice green. In order to keep the rust off my game, I need to dedicate more time to those particular parts of my game. Plus, the nice thing about working on my short game is that it doesn't cost a dime. I can use the putting green for free, which will make my wife much happier. And when my scores drop as a result, I'll be much happier, as well!

Cleveland 410 OS 9.5* - 240
Cleveland Sport OS 22* 7 wood - 180-200

Callaway X-18
3, 4, 5 - I rarely hit consistently so i take my 7 wood here.
6 - 160
7 - 150
8 - 140
9 - 130
PW - 90-125
Callaway Forged + Wedges
56* SW - 0-90
60* LW - 0-75

Those are pretty much carry. I used my wedges a lot 100 yds in. depending on the shot i can hit any of the wedges different distances. I'm a 23 handicap, but my short game is actually the strength of my game. Last round i shot 95, and only had 3-3 putts. My weakness is my tee shot. gotta straighten it out. i lose strokes for OB, lost ball, etc. inside 150 my approach shots are good, and chipping it good. I broke 90 last season once (84!) and my goal is to consistently shoot in the 80's. Once i straighten out my tee shots, i'll be golden.

Cleveland Launcher 460 10*, consistantly around 270.
Callaway X18 irons 3-9
4 wedges, 52* 56* 60* 64*. i really think you have to have a good short game to score well. I need to work on putting. I have had 26 putt rounds and (i hate to admit) 32 putt rounds. I am a 12 handicap, but i did shoot two rounds in the 70's last year. Makes me want to keep going out there.

i've got been Wiccan for 23 years and not in any respect heard of absolutely everyone naming a wand. So basically, on the grounds that that's your individual ingredient that feels good to you, call it what feels good to you. Insulting wand-naming isn't insulting Wicca-- because of the fact wand-naming isn't area of Wicca. a lot of Wicca isn't Witchcraft-- it would not could incorporate Witchcraft in any respect. you're able to might desire to maintain studying on that, because of the fact your fact is only incorrect.
