I have a degree but my grades aren't the best. Do they let anybody in?

Being able to join the military, whether you choose OCS or not, depends on a lot more than your degree and grades.

There are a lot of things that can disqualify you from service, such as ever having been diagnosed with or treated for ADD, ADHD, or asthma, for example.

If you are seriously interested in OCS, I would talk to a local recruiter to find out whether you are eligible to enlist and whether your grades make a difference - I doubt they will since you already have a degree.

No, they don't. there's more to it than grades or even the degree you have. do have leadership roles? have you volunteered in the community? are you a citizen? all these and more are used to determine your candiacy.

Also, what the Army is looking for may not be what the Air Force is looking for.

Basically, as long as you have that degreee you should be good, especially nowadays when officers are so high in demand.

It's extremely competitive.

it all depends on your references, your ASVAB score, and how well you do at the Board at the MEPS.
