Depends on the wine. A sparkling wine should be enjoyed within hours after opening. Most desert wines will keep several months.

It depends on how you define "good". White wines immediately stary to change their flavour once they are open and exposed to air. that change can be good or bad. Red's really open up in flavor with the air, so they are not subject to change as much. I would reccomend drinking an open bottle of wine within the week, so you are still getting its true flavour. There is a product that comes with a rubber stopper and pump with pulls out all the oxygen from an opened bottle and keeps it fresher. I have one and LOVE it! Not a huge investment, either. Happy drinking.

The wine isn't necessarily going to go "bad", but it will start to change and lose flavour:

Red will stay "good" for 2-3 days
White will stay "good" a week in the fridge

Ports, sherrys and wines that have been fortified or have a higher alcohol content can keep 6+ months.

Keep the cork in it and you're fine, I've had bottles sit for a month or more that were opened, just put the cork on. You may lose some quality but I cant tell the difference when I'm drinking it with my dinner.

1-2 days unless you buy the wine refresher ( co2 for white wine, nitrogen for red) you can get them at liquor stores or wine specialty shops
