How would you like it if a friend did that to a guy you were with?
Don't do anything. You'd be betraying your friend.
Just wait and see what happens.
If the relationship ends, THEN you can go for it.
In the meantime, don't do a thing.
Who knows? They may break-up.
There may be ANOTHER guy you'll end up getting interested in later on.
Just realize that God has a plan for you.

i hope your girl don't do the ask. answer. discover. on yahoo! cause you put his whole name on here and I'm sure she can read!
but if you are safe from that.. the girl who answered if you are thinking it you are not a true friend is wrong. you are human you can't help what you feel. but you can control how you handle the situation!
Do you think Derek has feelings for you? Do you think you will be messing up a good thing if ya'll get together? Is his girlfriend going to kick your *ss? These are all questions you have to ask your self before you go off and do something like spliting them up! If you think he cares about you just as much as you care about him, if you think it will last and not just mess up ya'lls friendship and you think you can take the girlfriend.... GO FOR IT!
but if you can't handle all of that..if there is even just one of those questions are answered with a no.. mostly the question does he cares about you. but if any of the questions are answered with a no.. take him as you have him.. and be thankful that you have his as a friend.. then nothing at all!

Keep your feelings to yourself. Early ejaculation is no good. But there is no harm in "lying in waiting". Keep yourself fully informed of your girl friends relationship with this man and everything he tells her. This can come in handy if you decide to pursue him.
Having said that, do not put all your eggs in one basket. Go out an get a bf or a few dates with your on efforts.

If they ever break up and you let some time pass, then you may want to let him know how you feel. (If you're willing to lose her as a friend because you will) But if he's with her and he isn't leaving her, it's because he wants to be with HER. You'll just cause a lot of problems for him and you if you try to come in between them.

If you're even thinking about it then you are not a true friend.

Where does he stand in all this? I wouldn't recommend betraying your friend.
