I love the attention I get from women, and I treat most of them with respect. But why are so many of them illogical? Women are cool to laugh with, play with, drive around with, and even play chess with. But when it comes to serious issues and deep conversation, they fall short for the most part. Is common sense educated right out of their minds? What's going on? Please help me understand. Thanks.

Awesome, dude. Women don't think about things the way men do. Sometimes it holds them back. Sometimes it puts them well ahead of their male peers.
As for smart chicks...a word of warning is prudent. From the male perspective, all women are neurotic. They're a boiling cauldron of insecurity and other stressors. Smart chicks are extra neurotic.
If you go smart, at least go tomboy. They're easier to handle at least.

I find your comment a little chauvinistic. It may not have been meant that way, but your comments are a little sad.
You must know that there are both brilliant and stupid men and women in this world; you must also know that to state that most women don't have any common sense is ignorant. You couldn't possibly know most women. Even the implication that there is a correlation between sex and common sense is a stunner to me.
I am sure you aren't lying about your experiences, but perhaps the area you live in or the places you meet women may be part of the problem. In some neighbourhoods, women are taught to 'not ask too many questions'; unfortunately, some women are uninformed, but they aren't stupid (in some cultures, women are still not encouraged to take on more challenging roles).
Another thing to consider is age. It is unfortunate that women are often encouraged to play stupid or silly in order to attract young men. This is not so much the case as a woman matures and realizes that intelligence is sexy, but some young women are under the impression that playing nieve or gullible or ditzy is attractive to a man. Perhaps it attracts some men, but usually not the ones that can handle a strong woman.
My guess would be that you aren't meeting women in the best places, or you have, to date, been pretty unfortunate when it comes to meeting women. You may also wonder if maybe you haven't attracted any intelligent women.
I have been fortunate enough to have support from my parents to exercise the brains I was born with, to get an education and to experience working in the corporate world and now the education field. Not everyone is that fortunate - this doesn't make them stupid. We live in a society that still holds women back, even if it is done more subtly.
I trust myself to make my own decisions and although I ask for someone's opinion sometimes, the decisions in day-to-day life are my own. Although I am aware that there are brilliant people without any formal education, I do believe the experience of being a scholar and working in the real world provide men and women with a place to practice their skills and keep their minds sharp.
Please consider some of the reasons for why the women you meet haven't been very practical before you judge them.

Most women learn early on how to get by with a minimum of effort, so they stop learning to get by with their brains. If you want to meet women who are 'deeper', then go where they are. Join a book club, take classes at a community college, go to movies that deal with deeper issues, look for the girls who aren't quite so out in the open. We get teased in school a lot while growing up, so we tend to push ourselves away from the spotlight. Most women who are smarter tend to always be learning and looking for new places to learn things.

Are you talking to women or are you talking to girls???
How old are these women you are talking to? Because once you become a woman and grow out of girlhood you have alot more to talk about and are more mature with more interests in the world.
Maybe you should stop picking up girls at Dairy Queen and try a library or book store cafe.
