The problem here is one of politics, not of military power. Israel could have extended its campaign to all of Lebanon. But instead they stated a mission and pursued it: Attack Hizbolla, not Lebanon per se. And the problem is that fighting Hizbolla is like fighting smoke and mirrors. How can you tell who is an enemy once the gunsa re hidden? There are no uniforms, there are no insignia.
Hizbolla is a fake enemy. They hold no territory, they have no country. Hizbolla is a parasitic creation of Iran to further their own fundamentalist Islamic ideals. Yeah, they provide a lot of stuff that a government does not. But, why not provide the budget to the government instead of funding militias?
Soon enough, Iran will overstep its bounds. And when that happens, the might of the Israeli Air Force, combined with the American aircraft carrier strike teams currently in the Persian Gulf will crush Ahmedinejad for the ratfrakk he is. Once the nuclear installations and labs are reduced to rubble, and Iran finds its country in ashes, then maybe they will learn to not pick fights they cannot truly win. Mess with the bull, you end up getting the horns.

First of all, Israel did not loose against Lebanon. second, its hard to say Israel has the 4th strongest army in the world when Israel has better trained men than most armys in the world, and also has better technology than most of the countries in the world. if i had to pick, i would say that Israel probaly has the strongest army in the world. its a matter of quality over quantity. Sure there are other countries that have excelent armies, but i bet that if Israel would of been in the war with iraq instead of USA, they would of already defeated them. so no they didnt get defeated in lebanon and yes they can win a war in the future.

Your question is pure "punk junk." Puh lease. Are you slow or totally handicapped in your views? Israel kicked Hexboolah's butt big time. The only reason israel didn't take them out completely is because Israeli's value human life whereas Hexboolah used civilian's homes in Lebanon to hide. Hexboolah consists of a bunch of punk cowards like yourself. A small fly in Israel can wipe your sorry butt out. It is about quality (which Israel has). 93 Israeli's were killed by hexboolah whereas 1000 or more hexboolah's were taken down. Do the math. Lol:) I love Israel!

China guy, China wouldn't have a rigidity to invade so that they're going to preserve. and they did it on my own with WWI classic equipment vs the U. S. led UN coalition of 26 international places contained in the Fifties. immediately's China has stuck up with u . s . a . in maximum element of protection rigidity technologies. they haven't any probability, and as for Indians. they're hopeless at conflict, China smacked them difficult in 1962 in the course of the excellent chinese language famine and China has this organic buffer pronounced as the Himalayas antagonistic to India.

Where on earth are you getting your news?! Your facts are completely wrong! They defeated the guerillas and maintained the support of the Lebanese government in their actions! Now, Lebanon is once again in control of their borders that they had lost control of to the guerillas that posed a threat to both governments. That lawless area is once again under governmental control. Israel didn't want to take the land, they wanted to take out the terrorists. The war wasn't against Lebanon, it was against those terrorist warlords in control of the region. Lebanon couldn't get it under control, so Israel did it for them.

my belief is if Israel hadnt held back that Lebanon would now be leveled. the entire region has attacked isreal before and they handeled them in SIX days. Isreal is small but has top notch equipment and fighters, the only reason they stopped fighting was the UN

Defeated?
How many Israeli soldiers were killed vs. how many Hizbollah fighters? You will find that Hizbollah suffered great losses in comparison.
Tell me, what territory did Hizbollah gain? Did they even achieve their objectives? Israel is still standing.
Israel not winning in Lebabnon does not mean that Hiuzbollah defeated them.
Besides, that was just round one.

Israel is nothing more than a bunch of hypocrites that kill hundreds of innocent muslims but start crying when the subject turns to the WW2. Dont you realize Israel is doing what Hitler did to the Jews in the WW2.

I disagree with your assessment. Israel destroyed hundreds of enemies, while taking very few casualties.
