Go to the smaller restaurants, not fast food. The burgers are usually huge, and come with more options than w/ cheese or w/out. If you live in the Dallas area, try "The Goldmine Family Restaurant" in Garland. My dad is the cook there.

use CITYSEARCH.com

Or GOOGLE for a restaurant rating site that has reviews of places in your town.

Find a discussion board or chat room relating to the area where you live...

Ask some friends, coworkers, an uncle. Uncles usually know where the burger is at. Mine do.

Well if you are talking fast food I think Burger King has the best by far charbroiled hamburger. Now if it is a sit down restaurant I would say B&D burgers, they are awesome if you have one in your town. The only B&D's that I have ever seen is in Savannah, GA.
