You should reinstall internet explorer from the microsoft website.

Before you go reinstalling - are you on dial-up or cable modem or DSL..... Are you using a router?

You can always try System Restore to 2 days ago and see if it restores itself. Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Restore - ... pick a day you know it was OK - don't go back too far.

You may be looking for the MENU bar. Right mouse button click on top in the gray area of Explorer (where your toolbars are) and you'll see Menu bar.....

I would reinstall internet explorer, and also type your question in Microsoft Knowledgebank on microsoft.com.

If possible I would also suggest looking into restoring your pc bank to a time before your computer started messing up.

Most likely you have downloaded some spyware or something similar. If you can access the internet and download files, download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox. Then download the following files and run them to remove the spyware.

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10401314.html?tag=lst-0-1

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5

If this doesn't work, you may have a virus. Download the following program and run it in boot mode or run a virus scan through your anti-virus provider.

If all else fails, download this program.

Please be advised DO NOT DELETE the results. First post them on the sites forums and let someone help you sort the results to find out which ones are threats and which ones aren't

If all of the above fails, revert back to IE6 or just continue using Firefox. God Bless and Jesus Saves.

i understand your bad a computers so im gonna try to help. what i would do to get a good connection is to check with your cable provider and chek your connection. and that info bar i beleive u just have to press one of the F1 or F2 or one of those. hope this helps.

P.S. if u have interenet ascess by stalite then get a cable hookup much faster and u get a connection all the time (as opposed to the chance of winning the lottery with satelite.)
