This happens when the adult tooth doesn't push the baby tooth out all the way; the baby teeth are called "deciduous" teeth... and your vet can do a minor surgery to remove the deciduous tooth that isn't budging by itself.

No it is not abnormal. A lot of cats and dogs have this problem. If they havent fallen out by the time you spay or netuer them (at about 6 months) then the vet can remove them then while they are under anesthesia. If you have already fixed your pet then you can have it removed at the same time as a dental cleaning unless it causes problems before hand. Sometimes it just takes a while to finally fall out. My moms puppy had her baby canines in until the day of her getting spayed and they finally fell out that morning. If it was a dog I would tell you to give it a raw hide to chew on, but you might try a toy or kitty treats that might get the kitten to chew on it and work the teeth loose. I would just watch it and if it starts causing problems like your cat wont eat then take it in to have it removed. Good luck and I hope this helps.

It is abnormal, but not terribly uncommon, especially in certain breeds. The deciduous tooth (baby tooth) does need to be removed or the bite may be off and cause other problems. Take your kitty to the vet and let them have a look. Deciduous teeth normally fall out by 6 months of age, some take a little bit longer, but usually if they haven't fallen out my 8 months we remove them.

No it is not abnormal . This happens quite frequently, if the baby do not fall out simply contact your vet and they will schedule an appointment to be extracted. If they are not extracted they can severely affect the bite and jaw.
