Assuming that you have no deductions - just the Federal you will get 313.00 back. You're entitled to a tax refund of 283.00 plus a 30 telephone excise tax refund. You can use either the actual telephone excise tax you've paid since 2003 or just take the thirty bucks the IRS will give you. I suggest you just take the 30 bucks and run.

hello civita you should be able to get back everything you paid into your federal income taxes even if you dont have any children as dependan ts all though you would get a lot more if you had more dependants

I will only advise you to change your withholding, because as a single person without dependents or deductions, you are not having enough held out.

go to H&R block's website. they have a tax estimator you can use to figure out your approximate refund or amount owed.
