are you for or against Abortion?

i would like to hear why? if you are against it do you think it is okay if a girl got raped?

I think abortion is murder. My first pregnancy I was offered a mid term medical neccesisty abortion due to a fatal chromosomal abnormality. I breifly considered it but could not take my daughter's beating heart and make it stop. Rape is horrible and so are the long term effects. Why not make the most of it and give a baby to a family that desperatly wants to share their love!? I think it is a shame that is even an option. Blah blah womens choice. I got married and it was a mistake and I wasn't ready for it. But I'd have gone to jail if I'd just killed him instead of filing for a divorce!

I am not against abortion because I think there are so many situations (like you mentioned - rape) that could arise. Every woman and pregnancy is different. I personally hope that I am never in the situation in which I have to consider abortion because I do think it would be very sad and difficult. I would never place judgement on a woman for having an abortion though.

I can not say Im pro abortion nor can I say Im anti abortion.I am deffenitly pro adoption.I think abortion is terrably heart breakinly sad.I wouldnt ever choose this option for my self.I did support my friend when she had one and cryed more than she did.The doctors actioly did a sonogram before the abortion and we say the baby.I told my friend that my husband and I would adopt her baby and rase it as our own if she didnt want to go threw this.She still choice to have the abortion.It broke my heart to hear her reasoning for the abortion but I respected her right to choose.Even in the case of rape I would chose to place the baby for adoption I I thought I would resent the baby or couldnt rase it.The only reason I could think of consenting to an abortion for my self is if it was going to save my life.I would have to pray on it even then.I hope this helps

I am don't believe that abortion is a good choice. It certainly isn't something I would choose to do. However, I do support a woman right to choose whether or not her pregancy and being parent is something that is something that she is capable of medically and emotionally. If I was ever pregnant and for example, the pregnancy was endangering my life or for example, my husband died or became injured and physically incapacitated, I would be furious if a judge, a district attorney or some opportunistic politician wanted to involve himself in my life and determine what I should I do.

This is a matter that should be decided by the woman, after discussion and advice from the baby's father, her doctor and her religious advisor if religion is a part of her life.

Against. It's really not complicated. Killing innocent human beings is wrong, and every abortion kills an innocent human being. Would you kill a one-year-old because her father was a rapist? If not, why is the child in the womb fair game? Is she less worthy of life than the rest of us because of the circumstances of her conception? Should children be punished with death for the crime of their fathers?

Abortion only increases the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped. I don't believe in Abortion i feel if you are big enough to lay down and have sex then you are big enough to deal with the preg. . If the girl is not able to take care of the baby she could give the baby to a family that is unable to have one of their own. But if a girl is raped then yes i think that is a reason for abortion. If that is what she would want. If a woman life is in danger i agree that she has the right to decide if that is something she would want to do. Other than that i think that if you are big enough to play you should be big enough to have a baby...

I am totally against abortion! No matter how a child is conceived, Is a blessing from GOD! I have seen children grow up, who were from rape and raised by their mothers, and mother and child did just fine.
Life begins at conception! A sperm is a living cell by definition. An egg is a living cell, by definition. As soon as the sperm penetrates the egg, life has begun. And now becomes a mass of living cells and has started growing.

I only think abortion is acceptable when the mothers life is at stake. The baby is a person, regardless of how she was concieved. It is a living person - an innocent child - a pure little baby just wanting to live.

Abortion is the most horrible and brutal thing imaginable. Even at just a few weeks in gestation, the baby can see and feel and is even thinking! During an abortion a baby tries to get away from the needle, and is seen to writhe in pain from the injection and open her mouth as if to scream. It is a medical FACT that these babys can feel pain. Even the scientific and medical community agree that a fetus is defined as a PERSON.

Abortion is the most disgusting and selfish thing a woman can do. Why don't they just deliver the baby and give the child up for adoption to one of the thousands of couples who are desperate for a child to care for? It is sick, sick, sick.

Look at this website and tell me these aren't babies! Tell me why they had suffer and then tell my why they didn't deserve to live. Tell me why this is legal??? It is horrifying.

i think its wrong. i think people use this as a form of birth control and that is totally unacceptable. the only way i would be able to agree with it is if someone was raped and it created a baby. i think people shouldnt have sex if you arent responsible enough to take on suge a huge responsibility. some people believe that its not a baby until it is viable, but i think its a baby from the moment of conception. dont have sex if you arnt ready to have a baby! it just makes me sick when people are constantly having unprotected sex, getting pregnant and then having abortions, when there are good hard working people out there who cant get pregnant.

I am against abortion. There is always adoption for the raped woman. We are not in the position to take a life only God can do that, and that unborn baby is a life.
