i've been to probably about a dozen junkyards and i 've had no luck finding one. apparently this happens alot considering it is just plastic. i have found some on the web for $100 or more. that is more than i want to spend, i plan on keeping this car till it dies so i really don't care if the color is exact

Try ebay for a used cheaper one. Or autopartswarehouse.com for a new one.

Since this is a common wear out item on the Camry your Toyota Dealer should be able to help you. However the price is going to be around what you don't want to pay.

Sounds crazy, but check out ebay! My hubby wrecked my GTO , and we have had awesome luck buying parts from ebay to repair it! Loads of salvage yards list their items there.
If not, then check out some of your local salvage yards.
