Thawed, uncooked meat should only be kept for a couple of days. Cooked meat can keep for a week. It sounds like freezer burn and it should be fine.

If you have defrosted your hamburger meat overnight in the refridgerator, and then made the hamburgers the next day, then the meat should be still ok. But I would not use the meat if it has been defrosted 2 days ago. Better to thow it out and don't take the chance

If they smell okay, they probably are. Thy can get freezer burn. If yo find an off taste it may be because the fat got rancid with the freezer burn. Ground meat has the smallest time to be good because the increaased surface area allows more deterioration.

most meats freak me out anyway.I cook meat for my family but the only meat I like is ground turkey and it tastes better and is way healthier. If a meat is discolored to me I won't mess with it,but like the other person said it probaly is only freezer burn.could give an upset stomache.

should be perfectly fine, as long as the meat is only a few days old and it has been in the freezer since you bought it, than your safe, it only looks a little greyish from being in the freezer, its basically just a little freezer brunt.
