banana bread is the best! it's super tasty and really easy to make. i use this recipe so much that i can whip it up off the top of my head:
1/4 cup of melted margarine
2 beaten eggs
3 mashed bananas
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
just mix up those ingredients in the order i wrote them down, first melting the butter, then beating the eggs into it, mashing up the bananas, mixing in the sugar. when i add the flour, i like to pour it on top and make a little dimple in it for the baking soda and salt. roughly mix the two into the flour, and then combine the whole mixture together. pour it into greased and floured pans, muffin tins, or whatever oven safe container you want, and bake at 350 for an hour. (using a non-stick spray is fine, but if you use the butter and flour it will slide right out of the pan!) for an extra treat, add spices (like cinnamon), chocolate chips, or nuts to the batter. you can also make a delicious, crispy crust by sprinkling about a tablespoon of brown sugar on top of the loaf before baking.

I myself love making cookies because they're fairly quick, easy & there are soooooo many possible types to make. My favorite dessert my MOM makes, however, is her Dutch Apple Pie. She uses a lot of cinnamon, sugar & believe it or not, Dutch Apple Dessert baby food in it. After it's all baked, it's soooooo good!

Burnt Sugar Pie
Filling:
1/2 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup boiling water
2 Cups milk
3/4 Cup sugar
1/4 Cup cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell
Burn 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet or heavy pan. After it is all brown liquid, pour 1/2 cup boiling water into the sugar mixture, then simmer for about 2 minutes, until all dissolves. then add 2 cups milk, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup cornstarch. Cook until smooth mixture. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Top with meringue or Cool Whip.
Meringue:
4 egg whites (at room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 C. sugar
in a mixing bowl, combine egg whites, vanilla, and cream of tartar. Beat on medium speed about 1 mintues or until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating on high about 4 minutes more, or mixture forms stiff glossy peaks and sugar dissolves. Spread meringue over pie, carefully sealing to edge of pastry to prevent shrinkage. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden.

Bread Pudding or Custards are the easiest and tasty.
After that cheesecake. My Kitchen Aid mixer makes cheesecake super easy!

My husband and kids love cream cheese squares! You make them with a cake mix, eggs, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and margarine. They're easy and wonderful. Might can find the recipe under Sticky Butter, Leroy, or Cream Cheese Squares.

Sara Lee (or similar brand) frozen poundcake, with cool whip or whipped cream, topped with strawberries- just like strawberry shortcake, but so easy. Sometime use blueberries too.

Pumpkin roll with cheesecake filling--pumpkin and cheesecake flavors go so well together. Icebox cake is good too.
