everyone is saying obedience school. Well, if you do not want to pay that cost, then here are some solutions that I have seen be effective. Potty training: Let the dog out at the door that you will be letting him/her out every time and tell them to go to the potty. When they go on the carpet....show them where they had an accident and then let them outside, tell them to go potty, and then put them in their cage.
Biting: If you are meaning gnawing because they are puppies...then when the dog gnaws on your finger, move your (pointing across its jaw) to the very back of the mouth...which gags them a little, but they are alright. My dog does not bite or gnaw anymore because of that technique.
Jumping: When a dog jumps, I have heard to lightly press your foot (step lightly) on the back paws so that they will stay down.
Of course...if the dog does something good...like goes to the door to go out to the potty...then make sure you reward it with treats.

Best to take your puppy to a certified dog trainer. You can train your own dog to ask for the door, but best to seek professional help with the biting and jumping

you ought to fade the take care of slowly. this means that the take care of remains hidden in the hand as a exchange of getting used to steer the canines. while the canines does the trick, the take care of looks. so which you ought to make the take care of much less of a bribe and greater of a reward. you may ought to return up with a correction besides with preserving the take care of. it is extremely substantial on the sit down, come, down and stay instructions. those are greater existence changing instructions then tricks.

if your dog is a puppy its easyer to train... I started training with treats and a tap on the nose for not listoning. I also sat in a room with my dog were there was nothing distracting him. eventually I trained him to sit fetch not to bite. To train him/ her to go out side take them out every few hours... If you know you are going to be gone for awhile to be on the safe side put them in a kennal. TO train not to bite you hold thier lower jaw when they bite. just hold for a few seconds like 20-30 sec. they don't like this because they cant get away from you and can't really hurt you. to sit I would push his butt down and say sit. To teach to up... I would hold a treat in the air and say up now he understands up... it takes a few months for a puppy to get it down I don't know about a dog...it also depends on the dog...

Your local pet store (e.g., PetSmart) often offers training classes. You should check with them.
