That would depend on how HARD she was hitting the child. If it was a beating.. then yes, she should say something directly to the women, although be prepared to get yelled at for it. If it was a spanking like a two year old gets, then no.. mind her business.

No. Maybe that child was throwing a tantrum and the child was probably getting a spanking for mouthing off, being a smart ***. Some people don't believe in spanking, others do. It's best to mind your own buisness. Your friend doesn't know that it was only because the child was crying. Unless the woman was clubbing her child to death with a baseball bat, leave it alone.

No if a parent is gonna hit the kid in public it's because the kids was having a fit and could not be controlled, sometimes as parents we have to do what we have to do and a parent hitting a child does not always mean child abuse .Most times your young ones get into the stores and really act out and need to be swapped on the butt or hands. as long as she was not beating the kid to a pole or pulling out a belt or something like that then know she was chastising her child so that when they come out the child shows respect and acts accordingly in the street

Yes, If you see this again then you should call the police and have her arrested for abuse. IF you do not know the person and they drive away then take down the license plate and give that to the police and or child protective services and make a report. I believe that the safety of all children is everyones responsibility. At least you are asking now and that shows you care enough to empower yourself in the future to do the right thing.

There's actually a law in the process of being passed out of California that will forbid parents, guardians - or anyone - from striking a child 4 and under. And also, to answer your question, I would report the person if they were hitting the child to the extreme and out of anger.

i think the finest element to do is do purely what each body else is doing and minding there personal corporation. Others contained in the save is probable preserving quiet because they could sense that is better to not get entangled or thinks some different person contained in the save will tell a manger or say something to the figure. I witness some cases youngsters being hit or yelled at in shops or perhaps talked about a shopper stealing before yet i did not say something because it really is not my corporation. it really is not my youngster or my stuff there stealing so why say something. Now if it grow to be better severe like a baby being beaten via the figure contained in the save, roughed up via the collar then convinced i ought to do something yet a slap, figure preserving the youngster arm tight isn't not baby abuse. some mothers and fathers probable purely get annoyed at there youngsters at the same time as they're operating round in a save to lead them to smack or hit them. A figure can discipline there baby see you later as they don't leave actual marks or bruises on the youngster so what can we do about how mothers and fathers cope with there youngsters contained in the save not something. it really is there baby there corporation.

I wouldn't have said or done anything. Two year olds throw tantrums. Are you supposed to just let them get away with it? Sometimes they need a spanking. It is totally different than hitting. Those are two completely different things. I have a kid and I know how embarrassing it is to be in public and people think you don't know how to handle your child if you just let them misbehave. So, sometimes they need a good little swat there's nothing wrong with that!!!!!
