Hello, I used to smoke alot of it myself, but after I got pregnant with my 2nd child I quit and never went back, You will be amazed how much of a relief it is not having to worry about it, your breath dosent smell or that taste in your mouth, it's all gone!!! Believe me you will feel so much better about yourself passing it up, I dont regret stopping It just seems like a big waste of time now, Give it a try, you will be amazed!!! GOOD LUCK!!

I have an old friend named Jay, he was a smoker too. Many things to consider... First, as has been suggested, go to a Narcotics Annonymous meeting, if you can't find that try AA.
2nd: this IS an addiction, so going it alone is almost impossible, especially if you hang out with other smokers. Addiction is not a weakness, it IS a disease! Once you realize that you will understand why "will-power" and determination won't cut it by themselves. Determination does play a big part tho'. You sound like you are sincere in wanting to stop, and that is good.
3rd: For quitting, you need to clean the toxins from your body, to do this you need to stay away from sugar for awhile. If you are able, you can do a liquid diet for at least 3 days. No caffeine, no sugar, avoid Nutra Sweet (aspartame). Sounds harsh, but you will feel soooo much better! I your health is in any way compromised, don't do this without a doc's help. Tons of clear - liquids works well. If you are not up for that, try high protein, no fats, fresh veggies, (steamed if they are too harsh for the gut in the raw state). You don't have to do this forever, but try to do it for a couple of weeks if you can. Excersize (like take a walk) for 15-30 min a day. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight (in lbs) in ounces of water a day, increase that amount for increased activity (example: 100 lbs x 1/2= 50 ounces) Good luck, you can do it, get some help tho'!!

smoke what u have left, or get rid of it somehow, and put ur mind on something else like women, or a job, ir ur life, or ur personal clarinet south of the boarder if u knoe what i mean. When ever u feel like sparking a joint you can do one of four things other than lighting up a joint.

1. hier a ho and get busy
2. m a s t u r b a t e
3. chew gum or brush ur teeth
4. get drunk

Actually, there are many things you can do instead of getting high. These are just some of my personal favourites. Just get more involved in ur life. Or set goals on how to make ur life better and get away from sparkie. For example, get a job, work overtime, get abs, go back to school, work on getting a better education, just do something.

Just get ur mind off getting high, maybe go onto some websites on how to stop getting high and fill that void with something else. But personally, I want the world to try to get high at least once. Comon try it. And also, Towlie is my idol! BTW "I am going to get a little high"

I smoke too and I try to stop and the same thing happens. If alot of people around you smoke, its going to be even harder. Thats the biggest problem with me. Almost everyone I know and spend time with smokes weed. Like you said I can go a few days or a week or so and then Im like let me get a hit which leads to another hit and another hit. Then Ill stop again. I dont even really like it too much anymore. Its not the same high that it used to be! Good luck with your quitting and mine. Spark up! LOL!

If you have tried and cannot stop you need rehab. It is an addiction and the only way you will overcome it is in rehab. Narcotics Anonymous meetings are good but you have a much better chance of staying clean if you first go through rehab. It likely sounds like the last thing you want to do but you will thank yourself after your 30 days are up and you will be a better person for it. So, for yourself and your loved ones, bite the bullet and do it please. Good luck.

Unless you "grow your own", I'd try keeping a close eye on your finances. As you watch your money "going up in smoke", you might realize that there are so many better things to do with it!

The other thing I would do is try to find an activity that you want to participate in, or a trip you want to take and say to yourself that the less you smoke, and the more money you save, the faster you will be in a position to do it.

Good luck!!!!

(also, throw out all of your lighters and matches!!!!!

I have been trying now for 6 years ive tried everything nothing worked. I did manage once to quit for 2yrs but i was in the army. I think only true willpower and staying away from other people that smoke marijuana will help. so much for that trip to Amsterdamn.

I suggest trying to find an narcotics anonymous meeting near your home. Marijuana is addictive. Quitting on your own might work, but it may help to hear from outhers who have struggled with this. Just try one meeting and see what you think.

it depends upon your will power, besides there is no other way, prepare your mind to quit using marijuana once and for all and capitalise on it.if temptation occurs again try some other like eating some sweets etc,but you should be very very tough on smoking marijuana.
