what is the worst hair experience you have ever had?

I have been dying my hair since I was 14: so far I have had: Blond,brunette, ebony, flame red, auburn, Burgundy, purple, blond with blue stripes, black with red stripes. I think I have almost forgotten my natural color! The worst experience is when I did the platinum thing. They had to use stripper in my hair, and it unfortunately took 2 times to strip the color. Well, you are supposed to wait a few days to a week in-between...so for that waiting time I had bright orange hair. Your hair color is a creative expression, an extension of you...have fun with it!! FYI, I have reddish brown now, but Mrs. Clairol and I are doing Burgundy tonight.

I have honestly dyed my hair every possible "normal" color that exists. I have never dyed my hair a crazy color such as blue or pink, but I have dyed it fire-engine punk rocker red once before which was pretty crazy, although it only showed up on the lower half of my hair because the lower half was highlighted blonde & the upper half was my natural dark brown color. I've also had my hair dyed red-brown, dark brown, light brown, brown with blonde highlights, red with blonde highlights, brown with red highlights, pretty much every possible combination of red, brown & blonde. And it is currently a dark auburn shade. And I have yet to have a bad hair experience because to be perfectly honest, I am happy to say that my hair has NEVER looked bad no matter what color I dyed or highlighted it. :-) Hope I don't jinx myself!

I guess if I had to dye it a different color NOW, I would maybe choose blonde because I have never actually had my hair just solid blonde. I've only had blonde highlights.

I have naturally black hair, and would love to have light golden brown hair. Unfortunately, achieving such a light shade on my ultra-dark hair would require quite a bit of bleach, and I'm not willing to do that to my hair at this point. The worst experience I've ever had was when I went to a salon and had my hair colored blonde. I looked horrible with it, and my hair felt like straw. I haven't taken my hair lighter since then.

i would love to dye my hair black with pink and blonde streaks
my natural colour is dark dull brown
im allergic to hair dye chemical PPD as a result of getting a henna tattoo in turkey, wen i last dyed my hair it burnt thru the skin on my head and neck and i ended up in hospital.
Now if i dye my hair, get another tattoo, use certain brands of make-up or wear black clothes i end up burning my skin and possibly killing myself!
the last hair dye was definatly my worst hair experience!

I am very pale, and have a natural color of blond so my choices are limited, seeing as I end up looking like the living dead. Burgandy was a beautiful color, just not against my skin tone. I would love to be able to have a dark color!

I think next time I'm going blond.
Worst experience: I cut my hair short myself when I was 18, because I wasn't satisfied with the layers I got, it didn't match my hair!
But I wore a hat everywhere don't worry!

i dyed my hair to cover my greys and i left the dye on too long (i wanted it to be brown) and my hair ended up jet black. it wasnt even a nice shiny black but a dull sooty yuck black. i only got the dark tint outta my hair a few months ago and its finally gettn back to normal...now i always get a hairdresser to do my hair, they have the expertise.
my hairs jus brown now and i am loving it!

I have long black hair. But I've always wanted big chunks of purple strips in my hair. Just never had the guts.
