I think if you go on one of those shows like The Wedding Story or Whose Wedding is This Anyway?, they give stuff away and help with the costs somehow. I could be wrong, but I believe in exchange for you letting them film the whole thing, they help out. Check it out!

NBC in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is giving away a $20,000 wedding....

the catch is the wedding couple must agree, among other things:
*to make themselves available for multiple appearances on KXAS and for related publicity and promotions,
*to be married during a broadcast of the KXAS show, on a date chosen by KXAS,
*to agree that viewers and others will decide upon all elements of the wedding, without input from the couple,
*to be married at a venue to be selected by KXAS,
*to depart at a later date for a honeymoon arranged by KXAS.

some of this of course has a pros and cons to it.....but the likely hood of you winning is slim since they broadcast this on the air and at Bridal shows...so there will be tons of entries....we thought about doing it b/c our story is unique...but I have 2 kids and cant really afford to be at someone else's beck and call, even if it is a $20,000 wedding...

Actually I do. You'd have to live in Alabama though. A local station gives a wedding a way every year. The only catch is you have to let us the viewing public make all the decisions. www.wsfa.com for more info.

Not really, if they were handing them out we all be inline.
You could try calling around but most of them are TACKY.... like Wal-Mart sponsored a wedding here and they had to have it in the Wal-Mart parking lot and everything used in the wedding and all the food was from Wal-Mart. Nothing like strangers parking their car next to your wedding.

You can't get a free wedding, but you can probably get a cheap one. Don't worry about dress and tuxes and go to the city hall. No party to follow.

We eloped in Vegas and it did not cost much...but you probably want a real wedding. I don't blame you. Good luck

Yes, you can get a big-name sponsor for your wedding. They'll pay expenses in exchange for putting their name on your wedding program and other places.
