Your teeth didn't get any bigger, you're just used to seeing them with all of their jewelry (braces) on them! Don't you have a fantastic smile now? I'm sure you look awesome, so just keep showing it off. After you get your teeth cleaned the slimey feel will go away. That's from the cement used on the brackets. Just remember to wear your retainers so that smile will stay as gorgeous tomorrow as it is today! Congrats!

I had braces for four years. You're just used to looking at them with braces. Thats all. Like someone else said, you'll lick them a lot (i know i did) cuz it feel so neat not to have those abrasive brackets on! The only reason you're teeth would get bigger is if you had gum disease, but if you took care of your teeth while having braces, you should be fine! Enjoy your new smile! :D

YES. You will feel like that for a couple of days. But dont worry your teeth are the same size they were when you did not had the braces on. I had mine for 2 yrs. and a half. I remember I felt like a rabbit LOL. So dont worry.

You're just not used to looking at your teeth without braces on them. They probably feel 'slimy' too.

It's normal. Also, you will probably lick them a lot because it feels so smooth. Congratulations on your new smile!
