It's so infuriating, isn't it?

ok did anyone watch the videos???? The world is filling our hearts with immorality and drugs and alochol. Why is no one upset? The Soviet Union said that if a country's youth got this immoral, it would be easy to conquer. The hearts of our youth are being targeted! The only reason teenagers are wild is because of tv and internet telling them that having sex before marriage is okay! If only 35% of the U.S.'s young population is moral now, think of how bad it will be if we do nothing! The statistics predict that in the next generation, only 4% will stand for what is right. 4%! Now do you understand what is so infuriating to me?

The media is owned and operated by ultra liberals and they have an agenda. I'm talking about the mainstream media that is biased against President Bush, Christians, Conservatives, and in this case teens. God bless all the teens, Jesus loves you.

I don't think media is destroying teenagers. Most of the printed articles I have read are about successes made by younger generations like the creators of google, yahoo and you tube. Of course, amidst those successful activities of the youngs, there are also things that out of their rebellious nature come so many decisions that went out of control and it usually fall as a good material among sensational news makers. The advice would be probably to do what is only good and lessen those adventurous experimentations that leads to promiscuities and irresponsible behaviours. Media exposes not only teenagers, they target anyone irregardless of age as long as they are worth revealing.

Heh, I think it's funny how the first video advertises how the media is basically brainwashing the teenage population, but this BattleCry group is doing the exact same thing by making things like abortion, pregnancy, sexual activity, even having an open mind seem shameful. There are so many conservative overtones it's disgusting!

Yeah, it's very infuriating, even for a 25 year-old.

The media isn't destroying teenagers. The media's focus is to sell products and ideas. The media markets to different segments, teens are simply one segment of the population.

Of course the media tells you what to eat - the reason for this is that a huge part of the media is paid advertisements. The ads say "eat our product". You need to be smart enough to decide what is best for you.

The media is not a living, thinking being. It is the product of the work of many different humans. They are not all conspiring against teens. They are just out to make a living. Recognize it for what it is and move on.

The media isn't doing anything to teenagers, teenagers are doing it to themselves and the parents of these teenagers are letting it happen. The media is just getting it out there for it to be known. Take, for example, the show on MTV "My Super Sweet 16". A perfect example of how the next generation is going to turn out. Nothing but greedy, bratty, irresponsible little teenagers out for Mommy and Daddy's money and are not learning the value of a dollar. All the blame is on the parents for not teaching kids today some values and manners (like "thank you, yes ma'am, no sir, please, excuse me" etc. I haven't heard a teenager say that since I was one) and for not taking a belt to their kids back-side when they act up..... oh, I forgot, that's "child abuse" now *rolls eyes*

It depends on the will power of the target. And some people enjoy it, although I can't see it.

One thing I find depressing is the teen girl magazines rack. Stuff about how you should dress, having sex, god knows what...

It'd probably be easier to do one of those sci-fi controlling brain chips.

Evidently you have not seen what a lot teenagers are like, dressing like clowns(clothes WAY to big), too many gangs, etc. Teenagers have always been on a self destructive course by themselves, the media is just reporting the facts. One of the hazards of being young, dumb, and believing that you are invincible. By the way, you don't Vote, you don't have rights. Your parents give you these rights, and didn't you have to earn the rights you do have...

Media can't destroy anyone.
If you take it seriously and are so weak you have to follow it's trends instead of being an induvidual, then you deserve whats coming to you.

Grasshopper...... it is easier for them to put you down, than to take the time to find out who you are. There are generational gaps that affect older peoples thinking. They sometimes forget
( be it because of Alzheimer's or selective memory) that they too were once young. They just did not have all the technology that we have today. Be patient with them. Learn their point of view and maybe they will learn yours. Good luck.

The media doesnt destroy anybody, people destroy their own lives. The media is simply a mouthpiece for Satan. Satan only has as much a foothold in our hearts as we allow him.
