I was told that your skin gets used to a product and therefore it will be less effective over time. You may have to find another skin regime and alternate that with the proactive. I found using proactive effective for a while as well, but then it stopped. So now I use Neutrogena facial wash and clean and clear oil free moisturizer. I have very oily skin and I exercise, so I have to wash my face more often then usual. If I get a blemish, I use Benzaclin. It's a prescription my Doc gave me. It has Clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Try a few OTC products first and then ask your MD about other solutions.Good Luck

Use cleansers and products that are non-comedogenic like Cetaphil. Antibiotics never really helped my skin much, but they work for a lot of people. Tetracycline is probably the best acne-fighting antibiotic, plus it's very inexpensive and doesn't make your skin uber sensitive. I'd reccommend going to a dermatologist; you'll probably be prescribed medicines like differin or benzaclin, which really help clear up your skin. My best advice though is to clear up your acne from the inside, out. Taking vitamins and eating lots of protein will really give you healthier skin! I hope this is some help!

I like Principal Secret products for the face...the scrub, the moisturizer (with vitamins) and the eye gel. It is not make up and you could put it on at night. The scrub helps get off all the bumps and dead skin (kind of like a sandpaper, sort of) then the moisturizer with vitamins help keep the skin nice. Should work for man or woman. Can order from ebay cheaper sometimes..
