I think a balance of both is good. You need someone you feel can protect you and make you feel safe. But you need someone who can be there when you're sad. So I'd go with a balance of both not too sensitive but not a "jail bird" either.

For short term and immediate attraction? A bad boy... Then they will at some point tend to go sensitive.. but then again they will likely get bored with that at some point.. what they really want is a mix of the 2 IMO.. and they want it when they want it and they dont when they dont (chicks.. go figure..)
Overall I think they like the BAD BOY better.. they just cant live with em.. but they meet the fantasy & thrills dept more than the sensitive ones do (just my opinion)

A mixture of the two would be the best-- but I'd lean more towards the sensitive side.
