Thanks thanks.. We are actually distributing photo equipment, and i find it to vague if i just use our logo. I'll be putting the id in our id tag holder... which has a brand.. i want it to be dual purpose.. id and at the same time advertising.. thanks

I'm also a former engraver, and when I was doing name tags (badges) I'd use small (but legible) fonts for the name of the company, a bit larger fonts for the name of the employee, and the small fonts (as for the company name) below the employee's name, centered from top to bottom and left to right (in other words, equal margins on top as botton, and equal margins on the left side as the right side). That's pretty much standard.

Sometimes, I had to use a logo of some sort on the left hand side of the name badge, so, I divided the name badge space of the name badge from the right side edge of the badge blank and the right side of the icon and center from there.

Good luck and best wishes.

Well it could be just the name of the company but the company logo is good as well. If it is the normal paper ones the logo large, but light as a background with the name and company name over it always seems to look good. And if your company has a slogan you can put that in small type across the bottom.

Why don't you tie it into photography? Maybe have a transparent image, (black and white) as the background with the name and company on top?

The name of the exhibit would be nice.
