I don't want to be in a relationship with him, but he really, really likes me, so I know he'll get me something.
Should I get him something so I don't feel bad, and he doesn't either?

On the other hand, I don't want to lead him on.

I think getting him something will lead him on unless it has the word FRIENDS on it a lot and is very noticeable.

Get him the same thing you are getting all your guy friends. That way he knows you don't view him any different that your other guy friends in a polite way. Then you don't lead him on and he gets the point.

Good luck.
Happy Valentines Day!!! <3

If you don't like him a card that talks about friendship and more friendship. Write something like this:
I really appreciate you being there for me. I like that we can call each other and share our problems without uncomfortable tension. It's nice to talk and hang out with someone who enjoys my company. I hope that we'll will be friends for a long time. Life is rough it's nice to know that you are in my corner. A small candy attached to the card is a cute addition.

Get him something funny or friendly, but not romantic.--an amusing book about something he likes, or make him some cookies and create a "I'm so glad we're friends" card to go with it. He should get the message and you won't feel bad for ignoring or returning his giving gesture. I hope he doesn't get you something really mushy--that could be awkward! Good luck!

No. Don't feel obligated. Only give him something if it comes from your heart. The nature of Valentine's Day is such that any gift will be considered a token of affection. If you don't want him to think that, don't give him anything.

Don't, you'll just be leading him on. But be appreciative of his gift to you. Hopefully he'll get the hint eventually.

The best thing you can do, if youre really not interested, is not to resciprocate or give him any reason to think hes winning you over. Flatly tell him youre not interested and while it ma hurt, he will move on.

No you should not get him anything, do him a favor and tell him you are not interested, then he will move on to someone else. Trust me this is a guy thing.

Giving a gift is his prerogative. You don't have to reciprocate if you don't want to. However, a very gracious, "Thank You" in a simple card will certainly convey your appreciation.
