Y plate Renault Clio, no dipped headlamps, main ok. Fuses ok, is there a sneaky relay somewhere?

Yeah could be, my micra did that and it took quite a while for the garage to find exactly what the prob was,will cost a bit in labour I would.

it may be the bulbs but its more likely to be the control switch on the steering column

stupid question here but have you tried changing the bulbs?
