Vitamin E is good for this. It may lessen the burns. You can get natural Vitamin E oil in a bottle. I would apply it liberally over the burn areas at least twice a day and this may help. I used it on scars from surgery that I had and it reduced the marks significantly. Good Luck !!

Two months old is too long for any creams, etc. to lessen burn marks. You might try Vitamin E, but don't expect miracles.

There are two possibilities. He either did it to intentionally harm himself and cause pain, that would make him a self harmer. Or he wanted a brand and stupidly decided to do it himself. If he's a self harmer, you should encourage him to seek help for the problem. Self harm is a huge problem today, many kids are seriously hurting themselves. It's a problem that must be dealt with seriously. Maybe even professionally. People harm themselves for a variety of reasons, intense emotional pain, numbness, inability to cope with problems in their lives, sometimes even chemical imbalances that trigger suicidal and self harm tendencies. If he did it to brand himself, you should sit him down and talk to him about the unstable nature of scarification and the very high risk of infection with self branding. Try and get him to understand that the mediocre, simple design, shouldn't be worth the risk. Encourage him to get in touch with a true, professional scarification artist so that he can learn the facts, the risks, and how he should care for his new wound. As for why people brand themselves or have it professionally done. It's just a form of decoration, like a tattoo, albeit a much more radical decoration.

Any plastic surgeon will warn you never to worry what a scar looks like for at least 1 and maybe up to 2 years. Skin damage goes through many phases before it settles down to it's final appearance. I would suggest a simple moisturiser and cosmetic camouflage if needed just now. At this late stage nothing much will affect the ultimate appearance.

vit E is gud 4 stretch marks ,not 4 burns. try some melatonin enhancers i.e those used in the treatment of leucoderma and vitiligo. medicines are not foolproof ,only time will help bring back the original colour.be patient!
