My other question is why are you worrying about God when you don't believe? Why take about God?

Wondering in my Hogan again....

Hi. I am an Atheist because I don't believe in any God, of any kind. I don't think there's anything supernatural. The Christian religion doesn't impress me when you look beyond the 'mass effect', i.e. lots of people have believed in God for a long time. But lots of people can be wrong for a long period of time; just consider that Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhist have all contradicted each other for at least 1500 years.

I don't dislike Christians; I have relatives and friends who are Christians, just like some of my friends are gay. I do, however, strongly dislike it when religious groups try to run me and my friends' life according to their beliefs (i.e. force Intelligent Design to be accepted as science; opposing gay rights etc).

In my view there is no God, so I don't have any opinion of him. But if such a God did exist I don't necessarily think he would be deserving of my faith, because he sounds like a medieval feudal lord who demands everyone to believe in his glory. And he seems terribly preoccupied with sex.

Why are you an atheist- be cause there is no proof of ANY gods.
Do you dislike Christians-yes, i really dislike Christians
if so, which group and why - all groups, because they're pushy, arrogant, and condemn all those who don't believe exactly as they do - even other Christians and good people. And they are a danger to society.
why are you worrying about God when you don't believe? Why talk about God? Because i care passionately about truth and reality. I'm also trying to help those looking for a way out of the pain and enslavement of religion. And believe me, there are far more than you know.

I am an atheist because I don't believe god is necessary to explain existence. Everything that was once attributed to god is now explained by natural phenomenon. Everything that is currently attributed to god will also, eventually, be explained naturally.

I dislike Christianity. I think it is vile, evil, intolerant, judgmental, and dangerous to human existence.

I couldn't give a flying f*ck about god on a personal level. But it is the continued acceptance of god which is causing death, war, and the perpetuation of ignorance, fear, and hate throughout the world.

You would have to be blind or retarded to not realize the damage being cause because of faith.

I need to make generic answers for questions like these and save them in a text file.

Yes I am an Atheist, I dislike some beliefs of Christianity such as belief through fear of hell, or the homophobia it promotes. I dislike all of the outrageous rationalizations people make in order to try to maintain their Bible is true. I dislike how people will try to change the laws of physics to support their Bible, but never realize that words have no power how the Universe operates..

I am here to challenge people's beliefs.

Becoming an atheist was a logical choice for me after trying religion for many years. I don't dislike christians as people but I do despise the religion.

You sure got your points worth!

I'm an atheist because I do not believe in god, heaven, hell, satan, blah blah blah.

I don't dislike christians per se, but I do dislike when they think their way is the only way and want it to impact my life via politics, media, war, etc. I also don't like the christian posers who think that going to church makes them a christian even though they do not in any way act christ-like.

I don't worry about god...that would be silly. I do worry about religion impacting my life (see above). I "take" about god because my opinion is as valid as anyone else's.

i don't believe in a supreme being, per se, but i believe in the divine. i don't worry about god, but sometimes talk to those who believe the same as me--there are many paths to the divine. those people are all on their own paths, some of which are types of christianity, so that's why talk of god occurs.

i don't dislike any group of people, though if i must generalize, those christians that try to convert everyone or tell everyone they're going to hell, i don't like them, and if they really offend me, i try my best to return the favor.

I don't dislike Christians. I know most are only donig what they have been indoctrinated to feel is right. My beef is with the indoctrination itself and the very thing they have been inculcated into most since birth: FAITH.

Faith is a bad thing.
