ive had every different type of extensions and spent thousands of pounds on them , honestly the glued in ones break off at the root no matter how good you look after them, trust me, they cause baldy patches!
i have clip in ones now and as long as its good quality human hair they should be fine, plus there much easier when you wash your hair as you can take them out.sewn in ones are good and dont ruin your hair but they need retightening every 4-6 weeks and you feel like you cant give your head a proper wash!
i think all extensions damage your hair , honestly but its the price you have to pay, for fabulous hair even if it is fake. try not wearing them all the time like when your just at home and this should minimise the damage hope this helps.
good luck!

it depends.
The metal clips on clip-in extensions are very harsh to the hair but you don't wear them permenantly so they get let pulled about. You do have to be careful when putting htem in and out though.
You can glue in a weave which uses a reasonably gentle gum based glue. These can tug out bit's of hair as strands get caught up in the glue also solvent based glue removers will be very damaging to your hair, it's best to remove them with large amounts of oil (I use coconut oil)
I have mine bonded in (they glue strands to strands of your hair) If you traet them well and look after them I find that they aren't damaging- the reason I had mine put in in the first place was because a hairdresser used some very harsh products on my hair, I had a lot of chemical damage and ended up losing a lot of hair (my hair is shoulder length, i lost the front section so the front of my hair broke to up to the length of my ears) I had my extensions put in to blend it back to one length. Once my hair had grown back I removed my extensions (which should be done professionaly and VERY carefully) and my hair was great. Most importantly it had grown back and I know longer looked like a punk.
www.greatlengths.net are very good.

clip in are really good and look natural. glue ins are thousands of pounds and you to get them done like every 6 months or something. plus if short hair comes back into fashion or you decide you prefer shorter hair you won't waste loads of money. and you can keep them if you decide you want long hair again. i wud say clip ins are better.

oh yeah! The glue I found out ripes my hair out and clips are easier. But if you have the money you should try getting them sewed in.

they're cheaper and easier to maintain...
the downside is... if u plan on gettin into a girl fight... chic would be able to snatch that weave out easy. lol
If you want it more secure and a little use glue in ones.
