I really hate clicking on a link and it "stealing" my browser window. Especially if I am signed into a site. I want any link to pop up in a new tab or window.

There's probably an answer to your question, but something better might be to consider a web browser with tabbed browsing, such as Firefox or IE7. That way you can just open in another tab and not have your window "stolen".

You can download Firefox for free as well. Give it a try.

Get Firefox to replace IE and you will fall in love the "tabbed" browsing feature. Firefox has an option to have new links open in new tab without interfering with the one you are currently viewing. It is free check out their website.
