Three days ago.I always write to my boyfriend. He's away right now and when he first left I wrote to him every day at least 4 pages. Now it's only about 10 pages a week. We talk on the phone for about half an hour a week as well. He loves it but feels at a lost of words when he does write. I like letters because the hold memories, you can also read them over and over again. My handwriting changes when my emotions change in the letters it's really weird. It's more loopy when I'm excited messier when I'm angry , Sometimes I even print. My sister's husband was in the military when they first started dating about 20+ years ago. I used to decorate his envelopes for her. They still have all the letters they wrote to each other, imagine the memories of over 10 years of love and changes. It was during the 80's... she used to listen to KOST and plan their wedding, while she wrote to him. She was accepted to try to compete in the '84 olympics but choose love instead. They have a 13 yr old and a 6 yr old and are still happily married. In 2007 no less! No one stays married any more. I say it was the letters. The wriiten word is a strong tool. It allows you to be more intuitive because you have no visual clues to intent ... you use your heart and mind to guide you.

Three days ago. One of the things I'm doing this year is writing 100 letters of gratitude and appreciation. To family, friends, ex boyfriends, future in laws, writers of books I've enjoyed, actors, community leaders etc. It's a spiritual exercise I'm doing with a group of friends. It's amazing how it's keeping things in perspective and allowing me to realize just how blessed and lucky I am on a daily basis. I recommend it to anyone. Especially anyone going through a hard time. If postage is an issue just post one or two a month but write them in advance and hand deliver if viable. People love receiving them.

my boyfriend wrote me a note about 2 weeks ago. he called me during the day and i was having a horrible day and while he was at work, he wrote me a note to tell me how much he loved me and how he hoped my day would be better soon. it was so sweet of him to do that!! i definetly repayed him for his kindness when he got home!!
i think good penmanship is a lost art...and a guy who can write down what they truly feel is a good man who is hard to find.

I always do that. I htink it makes him understand exactly how I feel about him. He loves it when I do that too. I would have to say the last time I did that was a couple weeks ago.
