I'd buy Turbo Tax. I assume that Jackson Hewitt is similar to H&R Block and I wouldn't send my enemy there.

H&R Block's class has numerious parts that are important that are "beyond the scope of this course." They don't teach well. Some students know more than the teacher. When they are looking at only a few people that will qualify to be hired, they change the rules and will hire people that FLUNK the final. They might give you bad tax advice (don't worry about reporting some income that you just found).

I'm sure this is not everywhere but you don't know.

Neither, but definitely not H&R Block. You could do them yourself or buy a tax package to use on your computer or use the free one on the IRS site.

Neither, they are both a waste of money. Use Turbotax.com . It's cheaper & free in a lot of cases and very simple to use.

Niether I would do them myself at www.irs.gov using one of the free file companies.
