Should there be separate bathrooms for Muslims?

In a univercity in Australia, the authourities provide separate bathrooms for Muslim Students because Muslims has to wash their feet before prayers.

If they want to, they can add a 'foot shower,' but segregation is wrong if it is because of the fact that we are Muslim and don't carry the same beliefs.

In my University as well the Muslim Students Association has access to a private bathroom, for the same reason. That being when we purify the water may go around. The custodian was tired of cleaning up bathroom flood after every person made Ablution, so we have our own bathroom with a key, and we maintain it.

Its funny we have a sign that says ," Your mother isn't here to clean up after you, so clean up after yourselves brothers" One of the sisters wrote it i think.

Absolutely NOT!

When you start with one little thing it grows to be out of control. No one makes provisions for any other religion, Muslims should be treated no better.

This is too dangerously close to segregation and should not be tolerated. Next thing you know they'll be demanding male and female classes.

No. I'm a muslim woman, and I'm just fine with lifting my foot up to the sink to wash it. It's not like people's mouths are on the sink or that they brush their teeth there. If that was so, it would be different, but it's a public bathroom. So no.

i suppose that is a better reason than the way they would provide seperate bathrooms in earlier days for black people
i dont see a problem with it if others needs are provided for also
