Freewill doesnt nagate the idea of crime and punishment; quite the opposite. A consequence of freewill is self-determination. (we determine what our outcome is based on our choices) Being that we are free-willed self-determining agents, we have the knowledge to know right from wrong and we have the power to choose it and we also know the consequences.

Actually it's not "freewill" in the way that some think. Romans 8:29-30 says, "For whom He foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called;"......
So, in all truth, God Himself calls us to salvation and then we have "frewill" to decide whether or not we will accept His call to us. Do you feel and hear Him calling you.....? Please use your "freewill" and accept the call. Love you.

Biblically, the Elect - those who will receive salvation - are chosen by God the Father from the very beginning. God does not desire that any shall perish; but, many will.

We do not have the capability to save ourselves. We do not even have the capacity to believe in an unseen God. All of that comes from God to us. The very measure of faith is from God.

To us we see life as free will. Show me where it says that in the Bible. We are all called to have faith in Jesus Christ; but, just as God hardened Pharaoh's heart before Moses, so too are many people's hearts today. Choosing faith in Christ is simple...yet so difficult for so many. God already knows who will choose Him...and that is not by chance, but chosen by God in the beginning.

Your question is based on an incorrect belief by many Christian denominations that the soul is immortal. That belief has it's root in Paganism. I suggest you search out the truth about the state of man now and in the future as it is written in the Bible.

it is free will because it is YOUR choice.
you are free to accept the following or ignore it.
no one forces you to do either.
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Simple Question. Simple Answer.

We freely choose to follow God or not. You have the free choice to where you want to spend eternity. You want to spend eternity in hell, then you choose to reject God. If you want to spend eternity in heaven, you accept Jesus as Christ.

Its your free choice! My question for you is why do you freely choose to spend eternity in hell? Or do you?

It's a free choice, you face heaven or hell everyday, love and hate, if you chose love, heaven begins now, because God is love and were there is love and mercy there is God.

The truth is, you are already destined for hell. You forfeited your free will when you rebelled against God. You are not free, but a slave to sin and Satan. Perhaps God will yet grant you the sense to realize your true state, and call upon Him to save you. However, He is under no obligation to do so.
