She chews on everything. We have chew toys for her but she still chews everything else. We have tried to keep her in a seperate room, but that doesn't always help. Some advice please?

If she's chewing on certain things (like furniture, carpet, etc) you can try spraying them with a deterant- Sour Apple is most popular. It tastes bad so they dont want to chew whatever it's sprayed on.

Otherwise, make sure she's getting plenty of attention and exercise. She could be acting out because she feels like you arent paying enough attention to her, or she's just got too much energy because she isnt getting enough play time.

You could also try a KONG chew toy or something similar, that'll keep her attention and reward her for chewing on the toy rather than everything else in your house.

Puppies chew because they are cutting teeth. Encourage them to chew on things they should by giving them a flavor. Some toys have places you can put peanut butter inside so they have to work at getting it out. Sometimes just rubbing it with some beef fat or beef juice will encourage them to use that chew toy.

couple of opinions. i read before if your dog is chewing on something she-he shouldn't ( i know this sounds mean but it does work) put 10 pennies in a empty soda can and tape it up. just throw it near the dog. dont let her see you throwing it. this way she'll get scared. and think that chewing on the wall or furnature is scary. or try "no chew" it's a spray you can get at petsmart or petco. it persoanlly didn't work for me. rawhides are a good alternative too. My pup used to eat the paint off our walls, no kidding, but providing him with rawhides helped. and the can trick.

tie an old dish rag into a knot and play tug o war... we gave our dog a stuffed animal when he was a puppy. It was in his cage, when he slept, played.... he is now 11 and that is the only thing he plays with.. "stuffy"
